Frame Size Guide
Find your perfect frame size at home in 1 minute, using any bank card.
The card trick (S / M / L)
- Stand in front of a mirror and hold any bank card (debit/credit card) vertically.
- Place one short edge of the card at the centre of your nose, just below your eyebrows.
- Check where the other edge of the card ends compared to the outer corner of your eye.
| Where the card ends | Your frame size | Lens width (approx.) |
|---|---|---|
| Goes past the outer corner of your eye | Small (S) | Up to 50 mm |
| Ends right at the outer corner of your eye | Medium (M) | 51 – 54 mm |
| Ends before the outer corner of your eye | Large (L) | 55 mm and above |
Already have glasses that fit well?
Look inside the arm (temple) of your current frame. You will see 3 numbers, for example 52 □ 18 – 140:
- 52 – lens width in mm (decides the frame size)
- 18 – bridge width in mm (the part over your nose)
- 140 – temple (arm) length in mm
Choose a new frame with numbers within 2 mm of your current one for a similar fit.
Kids' frames are usually Small. For children, check that the frame does not extend beyond the sides of the face.
